Yastrzemski rookie....why why why!!

Just picked up today....nice corners, edges, ok centering, and minimal print dots....but his position changed from 2nd base to left field!!! What do you think of this card...worth grading even with the "position" change?

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but what are you asking this question? It looks like either an 8 MK or a 7 MK. Just do the math, and decide if grading it would at at least $10 of value. If yes, then grade it. If not, then don't.

Like most of the 'should I grade this?' questions that we see on the boards I don't think this one requires any esoteric calculations. Unless there's a latent demand for nice looking Yaz RC's with pen marks on the front I can't imagine you're going to go wrong no matter what you decide to do.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think the OT was going for folksy humor.

Doing the math isn't so easy when the qualifier is MK rather than OC. A lot of collectors won't touch an MK as anything more than a filler on cards that are easy to find (e.g., a N, T, or E card with a MK qualifier might be accepted, but not a Topps regular issue).

Depending on how much you have in the card, I'd try a Q-tip or cotton swap with a few drops of rubbing alcohol to see what happens. Doubt that it will get it all out, but it could make the marking a lot lighter.

    Hi Claude

I like the idea of getting it auto'ed.

Not sure about getting it graded.

You can easily trim that part of the border off and call it a diamond cut or something. Then you can list it on eBay and as long as you say god bless no one will question you or the card.
