Registry Set Question ??

I just bought a Morgan off eBay and as I do with my set I go ahead and add it to
my inventory and when I get it in hand I take a pic and post with the set. Here's
the deal. I went to add this one tonight and I got a message saying the cert. number
is in another user set. They gave me an option to send an email asking the other person
to remove it from their set. Now what do y'all make of that?? I mean the seller on eBay
is a big time one and I don't think there is a problem but I guess I have to wait until
it is in hand and maybe the other guy deletes it from his set. hmmm I sent a message to
the seller telling them the same thing and asked what I should do.

That is a routine problem. Go ahead and have the e-mail sent. Sellers often do not remove coins immediately, and the seller could have sold the coin months or even years ago.

just take a scan of the front & back of the coin and email PCGS

has happened for me more than once. Fixed easily. I've also forgotten to remove a coin or two and end up getting an email about it. Common problem, easy solutions.

Some leave them in their sets/inventory to see how long it takes for them to wind up in another set. I average about 1 in 5 coins from Heritage that way. Sometimes the coins just disappear and don't make it into a registry set.

Nothing to worry about. This happens quite often. I forget to remove items from my inventory sometimes when I sell them. If it's not removed within a few days after sending the email just contact PCGS with images of both sides of the entire slab and they'll fix it for you.
