Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I thought the Littlejohn report was more timely.

So my whining about not being able to price these puppies correctly.... isn't my fault! I'm so relieved.

and the very first reply of the recently poofed Legend thread thought that the report was too benign. Ten minutes later all hell breaks loose. That was totally weird, quite uncomfortable and so unnecessary...........the thread was vaporized before it ever hit 30. Smoeone called in the heavy artillery image

She states the strong prices were bargains but they only bought a few????

    Cool coins IMO

Increasing greysheet and other price guides would not be a solution IMO, dealers would have to make offers of 90 percent back of bid. I was at a local fundraiser today with a few items you could bid on. I bid on some old local pictures that were worth about 5 bucks each. I noticed a women would follow behind and outbid me on the 4 i wanted. I started doubling the bid ( the increments were like 2 bucks) Once they reached 15 bucks i just jumped them to 50 each and watched her fret for a few moments and upped them all to 52 bucks each. When the said there was only 5 minutes left to bid i studied the women for a moment and decided not to push my luck and let her have the pics at 52 bucks each. I know the guy that donated the pics and told him about the bids. He said to stop buy his house in a few days and he would give me the 4 pictures. lol ( They were just copies of the originals anyway)

Does any competent coin dealer or even collector rely of CDN for pricing of $5,000 + coins? I would think the plethora of auction data would be better information. CDN is useful for coins valued at around $1,000 or less, but even then I confirm values of $300+ coins with auction data, if it is available.
