There are 174 different 1955 Bowman baseball cards for sale here. That is 54% of the set, which consists of 320 cards. Overall the cards grade VG/EX, with the breakdown as follows: 7 G, 18 G/VG, 48 VG, 80 VG/EX, 21 EX. There are no rips, tears, ink, pencil, writing, or paper loss on the cards. The cards are mainly commons, but there are 6 New York Yankees, 7 Brooklyn Dodgers, 11 New York Giants, 12 Milwaukee Braves, and 6 umpire cards. There are also numerous minor stars and rookies such as Johnny Podres (this was the year he won Game 7 of the WS over the Yankees 2-0), Minnie Minoso, Gil McDougald, Andy Pafko, Allie Reynolds, Sal Maglie, Bobby Thomson, Lou Boudreau, Lew Burdette, Preacher Roe, Charles Neal (R), Frank Malzone (R), George Susce (last card in set), etc. Price is $350.00, which is about $2.00 per card, plus $6.95 for S & H in a box, with insurance and delivery confirmation.
