  • I can't tell if this post is serious with 424 results for "1959 Mickey mantle" on ebay.
  • But if it is, "Beckett" value for this card has been $1k as long as I can remember, and like I said... 424 results on ebay.

Hi, hello, how are ya? image

Assuming you are serious and I give all the benefit of the doubt until shown otherwise, you don't want to purchase an expensive Mantle in great shape unless you really know what you are doing. Judging from your post you are not real knowledgeable in that area. If you want one in great shape buy already graded by PSA or SGC. You can always crack it out of its case if you want a nice raw one.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Whenever interested in a card like this eBay is the best place to check to get a feel for what they are selling for. Just search for the card and check out the completed auctions. Also be careful of sellers who try and sell cards as NM or mint with beat up corners and other defects. Especially sellers who may even be on these boards who like to make up stories.
