Sharing my 1991 Bowman Chipper RC hand signed just graded gem card!

Hello to all!! I had a raw card of 1991 Bowman Chipper, he signed it in 1994 spring trng game Marlins vs Braves. Sent it in and it got a BGS 9.5 w10 auto. I knew it was at least a 9 mint, and at least a 9 auto. But this is just great! Amazing! Couldn't be on a better rookie card of his, other then the Desert Shield. Great pic on the Bowman. Makes me feel like a kid again! Thanks for looking!

It's really cool that you got the autograph that early.

'94 should have been his rookie year. He had the team made before he hurt his knee near the end of ST on that play at first against the Yankees.
  • That really is one heck of a card, Congrats!!!!

I was starting to get mad before I scrolled down.......HAHA.... wow, you got me.......

(As a side point, the reason it is BGS, is because I refuse to pay $110 per year, or whatever it is for the right to have my cards graded.)

Great card. I'm a big fan of Chipper, he's a class act.
2.5 is pretty much my speed.

Thank you! Yes, I agree he is a class act. I've seen or read interviews when he has corrected something he said or did wrong, either in MLB or his personal life. He doesn't get enough credit for the great player he is/was, (even though declined in age), in combination with how he is off the field. Good guys don't get all the media attention.
