Poppage from my first PSA sub

I've bought and sold many, many PSA cards but never subbed any of my own until now. All of the cards are from packs I personally opened, except the Strasburg and Killebrew. I have no idea why three of those Griffeys got a 7, I thought I'd get one or two 10's and the rest 9's.

Not a great pic but here they are. The two bottom cards I thought might get a 10.

  • Thanks for those pics, personally I am disappointed image Maybe im confused but those just look perfect and to go from a possible 10 to a 7 seems sickening to me.... the look 100% but obviously I know very little... Nonetheless nice cards, and the fact u pulled them yourself makes it cooler IMO..

BTW just got 4 notes from the post office saying sum things have arrived, will only get there tomorrow, hopefully they are in better condition than the lost lot i received....

Thanks Mike. The Pujols was actually a surprise. I thought it had a chance but was expecting a 9. I was really hoping the Strasburg would pull a 10 but I bet the centering was barely off enough to knock it down. Football cards had lousy centering.

Also, do you know how long it takes these to show up on the Pop reports? Right away? Because I don't see that Josh Hamilton RC listed (non-auto version) at all. Has there ever been one graded?

The last time I had something new graded it only took a couple of days to show up in the pop report.

Maybe the holo's on teh back of the griffey's were scratched....seem quite common with the issue.

Nice sub overall. Post some photos when you get them back.

    This.

The Holo's on the back are what brings a lot of the Griffeys down a few notches

I too love the Griffey on the lower left. Great card and overall collection you have there.

is the top right griffey in a sandwich bag or do you manufacture your own soft sleeves?
  • scmavlscmavl Posts: 1,409 ✭✭✭
Ha! I'd run out of sleeves and stole one from an old card (probably a '87 Will Clark or something). Those sleeves were as thick as CardSavers!
