My new YouTube channel for vintage pack rips

I've been filming some of my recent rips in case anyone is into watching these. I started a YouTube channel this morning and uploaded a handful of them.

LetsOpenSomePacks YouTube Channel

I'll keep uploading this morning and continue to film if there is any interest. Unfortunately, my last big break which was one of my best (Ripken, Henderson, and Pujols RCs) was not filmed. I should be getting a big box from BBCE as part of the group rip (and then some) so I'll post it up soon. Enjoy!

    image Great job Jarrod!!!

Now if you can find some good sound effects, you'll give Jeff a run for his money. Nothing like the anticipation of flipping the next card over to see who it is.

You got some good star power in those packs.

Thanks for sharing your rips with us!!!

Thanks Mike. I'm too lazy to edit so I just upload them straight up. Saves the upload/edit/render/compress/etc that iMovie makes you do. Dontcha love how out of focus the cards are too? I'm a pro!

You're a pro compared to me. If I ever rip any packs, I'll post it on youtube too. Or course, (a) it will probably never happen and (b) I'd have Muggy come out and video it. image

Yeah Jeff, but it is worth it as it makes your rips the most entertaining out there.

Jeff - I missed that you are PackGeek. I enjoy your rips and hope you upload some more soon. Yours are definitely superior, as the camera quality and effects (at least all of yours HAVE audio!) are very nice.

BubbleBath - Thanks for the suggestion. Those were some of the first vintage cellos I'd ever opened and had no idea they'd be so tight. The knife & towel make good sense. image

That is very kind of you to say. But it all boils down to the cards you pull. I would much rather watch a soundless video of someone pulling some exciting cards, than watch a well-produced dud.

So keep up the good work and keep the rips coming!

At about the 30 second mark I found myself rooting for you to get the pack opened, "You can do it, you can do it."
It kinda looked like you might have licked your fingers a couple of times when you were having a hard time separating 2 cards.
Gotta resist the temptation to lick and then touch. LOL.
    Fun to watch.

It didn't help that I had cut off a chunk of my finger the prior week with my 2 year old nephew at a water park!
