1939 Play Ball Collectors - question

Hello Play Ball Afficiandos (please don't reply if you're not one) -
Coming into a large group of raw cards including Dimaggio and other HOF'ers. If you were buying, would you rather see PSA or SGC?
Thanks

It would not matter to me what holder a specific card was in.
Hope that makes sense.
Steve
i can't stand the gasket.
go PSA.
you'll get some favoring the SGC, though, as they are stronger on pre-war so i hear.
PSA has 20 base sets and 8 master sets registeredhttp://www.psacard.com/PSASetRegistry/Composite.aspx?c=578 with about 1500 cards registered in the base sets.
The numbers are so close it's very hard to say which one collectors prefer.

<< <i>SGC, the black gasket really makes the colors pop out. >>
Especially on those black and white '39 Playballs!
If I was a buyer, I would not care what holder it is in. I would buy the card, not the holder it's in.
I would suspect that many buyers think the same.
So.......IMO I'd go the route where my return would be best (if I was the seller)
I'd check pop reports, I'd check to see how many sets are registered with each company, things like that.
If you want me to simply choose between two companies with all things considered equal I'd probably choose PSA.
