Interesting overstrike - Belgium on Netherlands!

I came across this coin while helping a friend sort out some large boxes of world coins. What we have here seems to be an 1886 2 cent from Belgium struck on an 1828 one cent from the Netherlands.
The earlier coin is quite easy to destinguish reading from 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock on the first image and from 11 o'clock to 7 o'clock on the second.
The coin is not listed in Krause. Anyone know if this is a common sight or not? It wouldn't be the first time that one country would use another country's coins for planchets. This has also happened with Swedish and Danish coins.

Edited to add: I think you only find these for Belgian coins minted up until 1837 or so - it was a stopgap measure following their independence from the Netherlands in 1830.
Now the only question left is whether my friend would consider selling this coin. If so it might end up in my collection - I find it quite interesting even though I don't collect Belgian coins.
@ lordmarcovan - good to see you too, you've been around for as long as I remember. I do read the posts here from time to time and I enjoy the forums, but it's hard to find the time to contribute on a regular basis. Working would be absolutely fantastic if it didn't take up so much of our time
