ID help needed please - some fairly strange coins

I am helping a friend sort out a large coin collection and we have come across a few coins that I cannot identify. Any help is appreciated!

Coin #1 and #2 - I am absolutely certain that I have seen coins with this design before, but I simply cannot remember the country or find them in KM.

Coin #3 is also from the Middle East, but from where?

Coin #4 - well, my gut feeling tells me that it's actually not a coin, but a medal or a token of some sorts. Anyone know?

Coin #5 is a real mystery to me. Obviously from the Middle East, but I have never seen anything like it. Looks somewhat like coins from Algeria.

Coin #6 is from my own collection. Bought together with coin #7 as "unidentified" - and they still are. Malta? Can't seem to find them in any catalog.

Coin #7 - Malta?

It's funny how you can collect and look at coins for years and years - and continue to come across coins that you have never seen before. I suppose that's one of the interesting parts of coin collecting image

The Chinese coin is no later than 1908 and probably no earlier than 1902-1903.

The Chinese coin is surely a contemporary counterfeit? I don't see any reference in my copy of Woodward to a Chekiang 10 cash coin so badly executed. Compare this coin with the examples on zeno.ru.

Yes, the dragon doesn't look too good, does he? Maybe he was sick when he was sitting for his portrait.

So, the Chinese coin is indeed a coin, but a fake one? Actually it was the bad quality that made me think "temple token" - it does look sort of home made. Interesting.

When it comes to the two small coins from the 1700 I never would have thougt of Switzerland. Since they were bought together it might be that coin #7 is Swiss as well - I will check my catalogs.

    Thanks again for you help!
