<< <i>which 2 from the list also played in college world series?was on little league website. >>
Jason Varitek in 1994 CWS was one. Georgia Tech lost to Oklahoma in the final game.

Varitek went to CWS with Georgia Tech...I don't want to cheat and look up the other.
<< <i>Can you imagine going up against Dwight Gooden at the LLWS? >>
Can you imagine Sheffield, Derek Bell and Gooden all playing in Tampa little league together at the same time?
Here's a link to East Cobb's program- pretty impressive all way around.

I can imagine it but I don't think it happened.
Gooden is older than Sheffield.
Maybe you are thinking of Chris Brown?

I realize they were different years but just having a little league where there were 3 different future major leaguers playing on the same neighborhood ball fields every weekend would be neat to see. You'll see it now with the superstar AAU and travel league teams but probably not just from a local little league, that's for sure.
Ahh I misunderstood ya, Didn't Floyd Youmans play down there as well?
I think he, Gooden and Brown were all on the same team at one time.
