Post office EMS question

I sent a package to Geneva Switzerland on 7/13 and I am still awaiting delivery. The last status update was on 8/4 that it cleared customs. Was I wrong to assume that I should expect more from this $35 service?

    It usually tokes about a week to get there. Some EMS location they promises delivery time but some they don't. I have couple times they missed the delivery time but I did not bother to get my money back. Once I have a package to HK it took 3 to 4 week to get there. Usually it is other side's issue not USPS delays it. You can call USPS so they can trace it for you. I called them 10 days ago to trace a registered mail that was over 1 month to Italy. The value of the package is over 1K. I hope it will get there otherwise I hope eBay will pay for it.
