New eBay Sellers

Is anyone ever concerned about bidding on items from sellers who have never sold anything? There's a new seller with 37 T206 items ending over the next few days. Every seller has to start some time, but these days you just don't see many completely new sellers.
Always looking for vintage White Sox cards at reasonable prices.

    Don't buy anything substantial from a seller w/o 50 + FB
Look at what they have sold...is it what they are selling now?
watch out for lower fedback built up by many low dollar items.....they do that and then look for that one big hit

The purchase would be protected by PayPal...but as far as comparing the types and values of previous sales, this seller literally has never sold an item on eBay. He joined in late June and has a feedback of "0".

Pay through Paypal with a credit card. Worst case is Paypal denies a SNAD or INR claim (never happens) and you can still run a chargeback through your credit card company. It's far safer to buy than it is to sell on ebay.
