With only 2700 people polled, I find this survey to be "suspect." >>
Are you a professional statistician, OPA? How many people would it take to make a survery of this nature-- asking one question-- reach statistical power?
I am not a statistician, but rely HEAVILY on them for my occupation, in order to make critical decisions. And I'm dealing with multifactorial / multifacted issues as well.
From my anecdotal news reading of 'surveys', 2700 seems like a pretty hefty number of responders-- certainly to reach stastitical power (with all the other usual disclaimers about randomization, age/race/selection bias and other types of bias minimized, etc.)
I bet there's a STATs guru on the boards
Do your best to avoid circular arguments, as it will help you reason better, because better reasoning is often a result of avoiding circular arguments.
While looking around on ths site and coming across this thread right now, I have 60 $100's, 8 $20's, 4 $1's and .37 in change. Still got the $ in my pocket from making the rounds today of the local coin/jewelry stores. Didn't spend too much today as just about every dealer was asking a bit too much imo, so most of it stayed in my pocket.
To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.

<< <i>Cash in hand? How about 64% of Americans don't have $1,000 for an emergency expense. >>
