I FINALLY completed my first autograph set (1977 Touchdown)

After nearly 5 years, I have completed my first autographed set - 1977 Touchdown! It is a 50 card set that was released to highlight 50 then living pro football players from the early era of pro football. From what I understand, the unsigned set came with a list of addresses of the players for the collectors to get signed. Could you imagine the privacy issues that would cause nowadays!!??

Among the tougher cards in the set are HOFers Tuffy Leemans and Benny Friedman. The last card that I needed was Sid Luckman. For anyone familiar w/ Sid Luckman's autograph, there is disagreement in the autograph community about which variations of his signature are authentic. I have had several ungraded examples rejected by PSA and was lucky enough to stumble upon a slabbed copy at the National. I'll eventually have it transferred to a red flip and finish out my set. Enjoy!

Congrats, I like this set because it has cards of players from the 20's, 30's and 40's that don't have rookie cards or any other cards at all.
