Wow I knew you made some amazing finds before, but I didn't know about the Chinese artifact. Speaking of which, the son of famous author, John Steinbeck, would probably enjoy hearing from you (if you can find his contact info). He is fascinated by the whole Chinese landing in America in the 1400s story, and wrote a novel about it recently called 'In The Shadow Of The Cypress'. His name is Thomas Steinbeck.

    thank you! actually have been on here before, but lost my password info to my former handle (coachleonard)...and after being unsuccessful in tracking down that password for "coachleonard" i finally just re-registered as "hayes1601"...but apparently "hayes1601" has ALREADY been booted from the forums after one day! I guess I'm either computer challenged or forum-password challenged, or both. So now here I am as 'coachbedford' and hopefully this sticks!

    yep i was coachleonard-- ha ha. Well.... i just ASSUME he would probably be interested in your story given his interest in the history of a possible 15th century Chinese landing in AMerica. I've never had any contact with Thomas Steinbeck though.
