PCGS Graded 1809 Dime -> AVAILABLE UNTIL Thursday!!!

Available until Thursday. If not sold by then it will just go back into my collection for a while!

I am selling my duplicate 1809 Bust Dime recently graded by PCGS as a G-6. The coin is clearly stronger than a G-6 and shows details closer to your standard VG-8/10.
Moldnut granted me permission to post what his PCGS VG-8 example looks like for comparison, and we both agreed that my G-6 should be at least a VG-8/10.

This coin is an original crusty-grey piece with only minor chatter around the obverse cheek area. See Pics below
There is circulation chatter on the cheek, which is magnified approximately 10x the actual size of the coin in the image.
(FYI - I seem to have not adjusted my white balance correctly since returning from Spain and the images came out redder than they should otherwise be)

Two recent 2011 Heritage sales of lower grade, PCGS graded 1809 Dimes have yielded prices of approximately FR-02 ($420) and VG-10 ($1725).
I am pricing this example in the middle of those two sales at: $1,250

PM me (Winston) if interested. I prefer PayPal (Gift), but regular PayPal ($1290), Check, or Money Order are fine.
Price inlcudes insured shipping with delivery confirmation. And feel free to return the coin if unsatisfied within 7 days for a full refund.

A wonderful example of this scarce and highly sought after key date coin. While I find mine to be a true VG7, this coin, for the issue is exactly what you would like to see in a VG8+ coin. Rim weakness on both the obverse and reverse is quite the norm for these coins graded VF and lower. While a few of these coins have made it to the marketplace the last few years due to their jump in price, problem free, TPG coins are still scarce. I feel demand will only get stronger with key date coins in the Bust series and I would suggest jumping at the chance to get one at the same price as a VG 1916-D dime.image
