My National report

Might as well join the fray. Most of my buys were packs and boxes for ripping and some for saving. So I have to thank Steve, Rick, Andrew & Reed for allowing me to spend so much time at the BBCE booth, a great bunch of guys!

I ripped packs of 73, 74, 75 baseball, as well as 70's and 87 basketball, some of the highlights:

Also picked some graded packs:

watched someone rip a 1961 Fleer basketball box, the cards were awesome. I got a piece of the gum as a keepsake:

Got some autos too, my favorites were Dick Fosbury and Bob Beamon. Talked to Fosbury for about 15 minutes on Thursday

Subbed this at the show:

And my final sig before leaving:

Had a great time hanging out with Matt, Kirk, Andy, Scott, Neil, Raven, Kurt, and a few other board members. Thanks for all of the fun times and great card talk.

Hope to see everyone in Baltimore next year!

Mike

They ripped a full 61 box? That must have been incredible to watch. Love the 3 Stooges pack. I'm a sucker for some of those 60's non-sports packs.

It was at the Net54 booth. The guy bought 2 full boxes, and ripped most or all of one of them. It was quite a sight!

Do you know what they had to pay for the boxes?

That's for sharing. That Fosbury auto looks pretty sweet.

Mike, some very nice looking packs. At least they are well protected to avoid the temptation to rip them. image

Glad you had a great time and hopefully I'll catch up to you at next year's National.
