Panda silver bullion... are they worth the premium I see that seller's offer them for?

I'm wondering if it's a good idea to collect these, not only the past few years but going farther back say to the mid '80's.

"worth" is a funny word these days.

It's very difficult to tell what anything is really "worth"

It is a beautiful series with great designs. If you like the Pandas, collect them but I wouldn't call them bullions.
I had all the 1 oz silver from 2000 to 2011 and sold them all. I do regret that a little.
They have a great potential if chinese people begin collecting them massively.

Nowadays they are too pricey, IMO. I am still buying the 1/10 and 1/20 gold coins. Expensive too.

  • The "double-sealed" ones seem to be fetching a premium.
