I bought this medal on Ebay. The only reference I found is here. Where can I find a value for it? I live near Heritage Coins. Should I take it there?

The medals market is not as fluid or have as many Collectors, There is no price book and some medals don't trade for years. Mintage is often impossible to find. You have picked up a very beautiful medal that I have never seen before, I do have several from that country. Given the size, composition and condition,, and lacking any GREAT Historical significance should bring $95-$175. On an off day on ebay it could do $39. For a couple of determined bidders of the Artist and in the right place $225. You can try heritage Archives and find out as easy as going there probably
