I believe the QE3 offensive will be preceded by carpet bombing of commodities with paper selling and margin increases. Gold up by $50 in a day just won't do.

Sunday's opening gap from $1663-$1695 was not touched which was quite surprising. Gold may decide to head to $1740-$1760 before pulling back again.
For the first time in a long time gold miners actually acted as a safe haven rather than tanking with the stock market. Paradigm shift?
