Au is about to pass Pt

It looks like it could happen within the next 24 hrs. When was the last time Au was higher than Pt?

Interestingly, look what happened a year or two out after that date with the 2 metals.

Will platinum start to look very good to some buyers at these relative levels (you might have thought Pt would have already shown a drop in price today)?

I'm pretty sure when I first looked at Kitco this morning that Pt was actually down about $12 or so....back to even but I'm sure I saw red as I was glancing at it earlier.
