Your Monday morning paper trade(s)?

If the markets open on Monday with very weak equities and very strong metals what paper trades do you have on the agenda?

Me, premarket trades (after 7 a.m):
Buy AGQ
Buy TBT
Buy VXX

Nothing to sell as I recently moved to cash in preparation for this day. Although I profited, opening prices tomorrow could be high enough to prove that was a mistake. I believe the opening movements will hold for at least the trading day.

It might be hard to enter many stock-type positions as I expect them to open with the direction the futures are pointing.

Market orders (market price) should go through but price could be high. I will be waiting a few minutes after 7 a.m. to try to gauge a movement direction.

Agree with AGQ and VXX, depending of course, on what happens in the overnight. I have a small position in both already.

It was just a few days ago you mentioned getting into VXX @ 11,000!

May have to jump sooner, we could easily blow right pass Dow 11,000.

I do not own any short term stocks. I own a bunch of stocks and bonds tied up in funds, but this is a diversified portfolio that just sits and sits and sits. So in other words, I do not trade daily, weekly, or monthly, nor do I ever recommend it to anyone with the technology that the super bigs have to eat away at your potential profits.

Having said that, if you choose to trade this week, then I would expect lots and lots of volitility. I could see the DOW down 500 one day, and back up 300 the next, all week long.

I think investors should invest in some alka seltzer this week.
