1966 Topps Baseball

This is a very nice looking set with some key RC's and and lots of star power. It looks to me to be a set that I would might like to tackle.
Is there any advice or information that can help me get started?
I like cards in the Near Mint range is this a hard set to do in that grade range?

Thanks for any help up front,

Arex

Short prints from last series are TUFF, but fun to chase. I found a NM Mel Queen in a commons box for $1. For 1966 collectors out there, they know what kind of find that is. I was not a big fan of the design, now I am coming around. My only gripe, the combo cards SUCK! Except for Stargell, I am not sure any other combo card has a HOF. Just a bunch of scrubs. Its no AL Bombers or Super Stars, that's for sure.

Get a graded Mays #1 PSA 6 centered. And good luck with the Tigers Team Card SP.
Kiss me once, shame on you.

Many variations too. I'll PM you a comprehensive list.

Some of those higher numbers can get quite pricey.

My set is VG/EX to NM/MNT.

Have fun it's a great set to do.

I used to buy lots, take out what I needed, then sell some lots myself.

Also, sometimes it's cost effective buying a high number already graded PSA 4, 5,6 and cracking them.

    Good luck.
