I recently submitted a few indian/flying eagle cents for attribution/confirmation and what I got back was rather confusing. The numbers that were used do not coincide with any reference materials that I currently own.

Trying to get a response in email for which of his publications should be purchased to decode the numbers he used has proven ineffective.

So I come to you for assistance.

I'll listed a few of the items and if you know what he means, please help me as I would like to get rid of the mystification in my mind.

1866 Indian Cent - Cherrypicker's Guide 5th Edition: Snow 9 01-1866-303 (007.8) - Rick Snow called it 59 - which could be his estimated grade or reference in one of his publications.
1868 Indian Cent - Cherrypicker's Guide 5th Edition: Snow 8 01-1868-301 (008.23) - Rick Snow called it 58 - which could be his estimated grade or reference in one of his publications.
1864 Indian Cent - Cherrypicker's Guide 5th Edition: Many listed: RPD - Rick Snow called them (i have 2) W/L 53 and W/L 55
1857 Flying Eagle Cent - Cherrypicker's Guide 5th Edition: Snow 3 01-1857-105 (002) - Rick Snow called it 515. This just blows my mind!
1883 Indian Cent - Cherrypicker's Guide 5th Edition: Snow 1 01-1883-403 - Rick Snow called it 51 - which could be his estimated grade or reference in one of his publications.

Thanks and enjoy!
