Question about Spanish Escudo's (18th century) on eBay

Hey all,
I want to but a gold escudo from the 1700s, I think they are neat. I see a lot of un graded nice coins on eBay. Are these counterfeit ? Such as item #370532221085. sorry I would link it but I'm on my iPhone.

This dealer has coin after coin like this listed, so old and such hi grade! I didn't think they could possibly be legit. Wow.

They are more common than you might think. The Spanish Colonial mints tend to be tougher coins than thier Spanish counterparts although, this coin is not particularly tough. This seller also buys wholesale from the person who has been instrumental in building my Bolivian collection (1500's through 1909) for me.
