Well kids, I really DID NOT like the offering and saw basically nothing.
I too will be interested in what the '52 florin goes for, and that is about it.

Yikes, I did not like the Heritage offerings either;
am I getting cantankerous now?

I just don't see either having nice or even good Victoria and up milled pre-decimals,
what am I missing?

I think cantankerous would be as good a word as any.

A decent 1839 proof farthing, a couple of nice overdate Vicky pennies, a really pretty 1839 proof 6d, what's not to like.

Yep, IMO Goldberg had nothing special in the UK arena (at least Vic save maybe that florin), but HA looks to have an especially nice group of YH sovereigns. An excellent opportunity for someone to add a nice type coin to their collection.

Look again. I count 13 Young Head sovs, including an 1838 and 1839, '44, '51, '52, '53, '57, '58, '61, '64, '66, '85, and of course a ubiquitous 1871 just for completeness.

One of the nicer offerings in the US in recent memory.

Nothing for me either. Looking at 5 lots though at Stacks ANA Rosemont and 3 lots at Heritage Long Beach. That will keep my wallet empty for a while!

I saw exactly one Philippines coin. It was Spanish colonial. It was circulated.

Not interested.
On the plus side, this should count as my 1000th post

which should change me from "Veteran" to "Collector".

Well there is one lot I have decided to bid on, hoping all the whales are feeling poor so I have a chance.
