Make An Offer Auctions

Yea, I guess we have talked about this before but it never ceases to amaze me
about when the start prices or the buy it now prices are like 40 to 200 percent over a
fair market price. Fair market to me is what PCGS guide and Greysheet says a coin
is worth. I don't usually check closed auctions to see what they sell for I just use
those two guides. For instance a coin is GS Ask $40. , PCGS guide is $65. and the
auction's buy it now is $219.99. Then it's got the fateful "Make An Offer" and that's
when I get image I want to just offer the seller 60 bucks and watch the proverbial
"Your Offer Has Been Rejected" just as soon as I hit the enter key.

OK , after this rant my question is what should I, what would you and what do you do
when you see this? The coin is not a world class rarity it's just a CS MS65 Franklin, not
even FBL.
