Hope you girls n gals don't mind. Seeing that the
most intelligent beings around are probably right here,
what is this, a Hawk or Falcon? Some have said both.
I was blessed today, this guy let me into his world for
a short time. At one point I managed to get within 10 ft, incredible.
The snake sure was tough, even with no head, he was still kickin for a while.

The bird is the American people, the snake is the Ferderal Reserve, being exposed and dismantled

I believe that is a peregrine falcon , a beautiful example at that.

That is a fairly common Red-Shouldered Hawk. Feel free to visit my website HERE in the nature section to view more photos of this great bird. I have photos of one eating an Eastern Cottontail and also eating a Banded Water Snake. Enjoy,

Im no expert but one difference stands out , Morgansforever's bird has those white socks right down to its feet , very noticable whereas the hawks..not so much if at all.
