In 1965, I remember having a roll of 1963-D dimes that I was going to keep as an investment. I don't remember where it went, but I probably sold it for beer money when I went to college a few years later.

I was watching Dennis torture "poor Mr. Wilson" and his 1914-D cent.
<< <i>Does anyone know how much silver was per ounce in 1965? >>
Silver was around $1.30 from 1965 to 1966. It started moving up in 1967 and peaked at $2.65 in 1968. A nice double. That was wave one of the 1962-1980 PM's bull. Gold would have followed but was delayed due the actions of the London gold pool from 1962-1968.
