    American XF, not British EF. That's a great find - R13 according to Freeman.


    Edited to add: I had one in very similar condition a couple of years ago that PCGS considered AU55 even though I disagreed and listed it on ebay as gVF. I guess I erased the picture not too long ago, so I can't post it as a comparison

    Maybe squeeks as an EF40 but methinks VF35 a better grade. Nice date though!
    BTW, date does not affect my grade.

    On the right side of VF, but looks to have been cleaned at some time in the past as the bust and field have the same reflectivity coupled with a couple of very coppery exposed spots on both sides.

    Yikes, they must not have graded it on the same day as that matte proof '51 halfcrown shone on these boards the other day...
