Video, Pics Posted I'm opening a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Sticker Back PSA 8 Wax Pack

I could not sell this pack for close to $500 so I am going to take my chances and crack it out and send good cards to PSA. Hopefully the Jordan sticker is in great shape. Video or pics should be coming by tomorrow, can't open til tonight. Should be fun either way. Here is the pack:

I know. I opened 5 packs this year and had to take the wax off with pantyhose. I will be inspecting the sticker under the blacklight to make sure all the wax is off also. Thanks for the heads up

Sorry guys, just got in and it will be opened tomorrow, afternoon(hopefully). I'll post here before I rip image

I would keep it sealed! The bottom corner of that pack doesn't look to good. You may get nice centering and all the wax off but it's all for not if the corner is smashed!

Looks like that in the front but not in the back. I've had packs that looked like that but the cards were fine. I will take that in to consideration though. Looks like the wax is indented there but is not as indented where the first card(gum card) would be so hopefully that and the ones behind it are not damaged. What are the chances a Jordan rookie is also in there? Thanks for the heads up

Anyone know a good quick way to crack it out. I cracked out a PSA pack once before but took a while and I want to make sure not to damage the pack. The cracking out will be on video too so I want it to be a minute or two. Thanks

Sorry I have no experience to assist you Mark as I've never cracked open an unopened PSA graded pack. I would think that the pliers trick would work by cracking the holder at the top and then inserting a screwdriver to pop it open.

Hopefully all those rippers will be along soon with advice.

That was alot of fun to watch, thanks for sharing that. You actually pulled some decent cards out of that pack, depending on the centering. PSA 9 in the Checklist, Lucas, Worthy and Lewis Lloyd will do very well in auctions. Doc Rivers in PSA 9 is a $35ish card as well. Keep us posted on the grades, including the Jordan.

Thanks MBMiller25! Not a total loss and was something I wanted to do for a year of having the pack. I will post the grades when I get them and here is a pic of them all:

Didnt even catch the fact you landed an Orlando Woolridge as well. Thats a tough card to find centered as well. Unfortuantely it looks like a bunch of PSA 8's based on the centering. Again, Great time watching that!
