does anyone know what this is????

Was going thru some things in my basement and found something I must have purchased years ago. It is a binded book titled "The Football News 1962". It has what appears to be weekly newsletters about college football starting on September 15, 1962 and they end with a Bowl Game Issue dated
December 29, 1962. Some photos below....anyone have any info on this?? thanks al.

I will have to go back and see how they did that year.....and who eventually was #1 when the season was over.

Likewise, Duke was in the Top Ten as well.

glad I was not the only one around back in 1962...although I was only ten and probably didn't get into many liquor stores......brings back memories though, back in the 60's and even 70's we used to have state stores here in Ohio which sold all the liquor...don't see those anymore.....

Just come east Al, we still have the state stores for liquor here in Pa. Though they have loosened up control of wine recently.

went back and looked, USC ended up #1 in country at end of 1962. Ohio State was preseason #1 but they lost 3 games that year and didn't win the Big 10, Wisconsin did....Wisconsin lost to USC in the Rose Bowl....oh the good old days.
