refund on purchase partially paid with ebay bucks - where's my money?
I bought a card for $10.45 plus $2.95 shipping = $13.40
I had $10.36 in available ebay bucks, so I used all of that plus a $3.04 charge to my credit card.
The card arrived damaged and the seller issued a full refund very promptly, so I have no problem with the seller anymore.
In the PayPal transaction details, it says the following:
Funding Type: Redemption Code and Credit Card
Funding Source:
$10.36 USD - eBay Bucks Certificate #EANRXXXXXXXXXXXX
$3.04 USD - Visa Card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-6770
Is the "eBay Bucks Certificate" number listed there now a valid ebay coupon code for a new purchase or what? How do I get back that $10.36?

How do I know this? I managed 3 quarters in a row to use eBay bucks on shiat that got damaged, misshipped or never shipped. F eBay!
If you don't see anything go to the live online chat option and ask them to credit it back or even send them an email they will give it back to you.
I thought it had been lost into a virtual wormhole because it didn't show up in the summary at all and then it took a while to show up when I clicked to go to the specific ebay bucks page. But then it showed up and I was able to buy the same card again from a different seller for $9 + $1 so it all worked out. I now have 36 cents left over.
