OK, here are the packs and the visible star power (not much). The '89 Fleer box wasn't in there but I've emailed Steve so I'm sure he'll make it right.

Opened the cello of '80 Topps.

Got these (Perez was the gum card):

    And this!!!

Looks great too, maybe a 9? The pic makes the corners look soft, which they are not.

Wow!! Beautiful Henderson! With a start like that, what will you do for an encore? That's lightning in a bottle right there, folks!

All five '85 racks were a bust. I mean, an '85 Robin Yount won't make me rich no matter HOW nice it is.

    However, these smudges were odd.

Both '83 Topps were a bust with the Pete Rose that was showing on the back being the best card.

The three packs of '77 Topps gave me no love except for The Bird's rookie, which I was happy to get.

That Fidrych could be a PSA 9, which is tough to find. That would bring some decent $$.

The two '79 rack packs were so-so, but no RC power. All were pretty OC.

Got a Chrome Morneau RC out of the last five packs of '01 TT. I probably should've stopped after the first two packs though.

That Henderson pull kind of blew my mind too. One pack? First thing I opened? Crazy.

I think this speaks volumes to BBCE's integrity concerning non-searched packs. Unless they resealed my '85s! image

Can't even dream results than these with such a small sample size. Those were hot packs!

Just got home from hockey and looked through the thread. Great job on the rip Jarrod!!!

I've only opened a few 1982 Topps rack packs myself that had machine notches on the front cards and got a Ripken RC as well. I think I opened 5 1982 racks altogether. I actually won them a hoard of packs from Rick Probstein.

And your Henderson pull reminds me of the only 1980 wax pack I ever opened (well besides when they were originally sold). I bought a 1980 Topps Wax Box and one of the packs had the seal pop so I opened it and it had a Henderson in it. I guess it was meant to be opened. image

Thanks for sharing and good luck on the sub!!!

Thanks Mike. I think I'll stay away from 1980 Topps for awhile though, as I know my luck cannot get any better on those right now.
