Where to get 1000 assorted baseball cards?

A friend needs about 1000 assorted year, decent condition baseball cards to decorate her son's room. Where could she get them and what would it cost approximately?

I'll donate your friend a 4-row box for free (my guess 2,000 cards?). Weighs about 15 lbs. Parcel Post shipping estimate will be about $15.

If she would like 2 full boxes (each with 4 rows or about, my guess 4,000 cards) he can have them both (figure $30 or less shipping)

(nice 80s, 90s mix of all sports, sorry not all baseball and I think there is nothing later than 1996)

I randonly pulled 15 cards from the box, 9 were baseball cards (3 football, 2 basketball, 1 hockey)

Just a guess, but young kids generally prefer cards of the current players they watch on TV and read about. if you want to do the project right, in my opinion, buy a boxed set of 2011 Topps cards - I think there are 660 cards in there...get two boxes if they need more cards than that. The only problem it will be more expensive than the other suggestions, but I think the kid would like it much more.
