OK, can anybody post pictures of the two of these? I have one in TPG holder that DOES NOT have matte surfaces, at least by comparison to Gr. Britain issues of 1927, 1937, etc. I sent it back in for designation review and came back matte again. WTF?

There is not a clear distinction that I can see between the matte and mirror types; the matte appear to vary from being a little
bit satiny to much more mirror-like.
I think the market must be fairly thin as the same specimen matte 67 PCGS coins keep showing themselves.
They sold/offered a bucketload in the Jan. 2011 NYINC auction.
These are NOT mattes in the Brit sense of it.
Why anyone pays a premium for the "mirror" types I can not fathom.

To be honest I can't really tell the difference between this and a regular business strike. The lustre looks very... regular to me.
