Auto Opinions... Elway, Smoltz, Maddux, Joe Carter

I got these done by a member on another message board @ the Tahoe golf event last weekend... does anyone think these are good? I have some serious doubts about these. Thanks in advance for some of your expertise!

edit to add: the J in John does not look right out of the gate. The auto is much more compact than typical Elway's as well.
Who was the member on SCN?

This is what it's come to though. SOB's forging freaking Joe Carter!
The question is how long has this guy been doing this & how many people have been ripped off.
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
<< <i>I got all those autos at Tahoe....I got Smotlz, Maddux on trading cards and Joe Carter and John Elway in the program. I think that Joe Carter would sign a card but I did not see Elway sign anything other than tourney memorabilia and a jersey. >>
That's what everyone was saying about Elway... the guy said he got Elway at the airport or hotel or something.
Could you please post some scans of the auto's you got at the event.
<< <i>I hate to say it, but they all are some pretty good forgeries. Even advanced collectors will miss out & think they are real.

the guy has over 60+ positive transactions on SCN - and most collectors over there know their stuff! He is currently taking consignments for the Yankees - I can't see that turning out very well!!!!
LOL on Joe Carter... who the hell forges a Joe Carter auto - does a forger have no shame?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Maybe someone could post a link to his auctions. He sold a few items from the tourney including signed cards of Smoltz and Maddux.

I don't know how all of it works & can't read about it on SCN.
<< <i>I'll try to post what I have but there is also an ebay seller who has a signed Dan Quayle card and all his autos look pretty legit to me. He is selling off the RCs of the guys that would not sign trading cards and his other stuff looks good to me. There is a bit of variety to some autographs but some of the rush between holes has something to do with it. These still look good IMHO.

I found the guys stuff and I don't think my Carter matches up to his...
Then you add in a rushed signature maybe.
I really don't know what to believe anymore and
Am confused as hell right now.
I hope somebody finds out the truth for everybody.
I am very bothered by the similarity of the J's on all the cards AND the tilt of the signature is the same on all of them. The angle of the signature (tilted up or parallel to bottom of card) should have changed some with the different signers. All 4 of the cards have the same slightly upward tilt. IMO, the same person signed all 4.
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
