A Little Desk Cleaning Poppage !!!!!!!!

Morning,
Cleaned off some random stacks of Cards off my desk in May and sent in two subs of 23 and 24 cards, finally one popped. Not too displeased...couple of usual whatever's !!!
Second sub is all Football, 56's, 57's, and 62's, so there goes the ol theory about why some subs Pop before others !!!
Interesting thing on all these HOW's is I had a suspicion that they were all Not as They appeared, from a quick look they all looked to be EX-MT 6's & NM's, even a NM-MT 8 on one of them. Just seemed to good to be True !!!!! Now I am really curious if they have been messed with (How ????) and PSA see's this and that is why they are all so downgraded???

You know how to grade and that's quite a significant difference. May have been perhaps creases and possibly some scuffing as well? Maybe some water damage?
I know you have sent in HOW before and the grades came back, IIFR, close to what you thought they would. Did this recent submission come from the same source as the others? Do you think a call to PSA would do you any good? GOOD LUCK.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Cards were not from same source as the last batch, but what I thought was a very reputable source.....Re-Thinking that opinion (Hope they were a pass through and they didn't knowingly Sell them as ?????). Was too late to call PSA. Cards were shipped status before I even saw they Popped.
I have been doing this long enough, and just knew that there was No Way I should have won the lot of HOW's in such Hi Grade for so Cheap ! Had to be something wrong with them, I examined them very closely, no hairline wrinkles, no blemishs, no nothing I detected. They all apppeared to be Min EX-NM 6's (Actually only one) to NM 7's with one possible NM-Mt 8 or 7.5.
I got them so cheaply I'll still make a dollar or two even as is, just want to know what I missed for my own info more than anything. I can see missing something on a Card or two in a sub, but a whole group of one type Card from the Same Source....One of those Things that make ya wanna Go "HHHHMMMMMMMMMM ?????!"
