suspicious silver seller on eBay

piecesofmepiecesofme Posts: 6,669 ✭✭✭
Sells Ten 10 oz Engelhards yesterday for $6777!
Item# 370480248550

Now has the exact same bars up (notice his Lot code number is the same) for the same price.
Item # 390331859384

$67.77/oz.!!! It is a best offer auction and i'm sure a reasonable price was negotiated and accepted, but why would the buyer back out when silver had a nice bounce today? The buyer is immediately up 3.5% in a day! I smell something rotting.

Check out the rest of his auctions. To say he was "very overpriced" is an understatement. If you look at the revision history for some of his items, you can see that some have been listed for a YEAR or more.

lol...so what's the motive? To show that he can sell way overpriced stuff, get hit with the FVF (which he may be able to have cancelled if he's having a "buddy" or shill ID make it look like it sold", then relist it at the same price? I don't get it.
Stay away, stay very far away imo.
