    Yes, the Phillies have had a lot of bad teams and losses in the past...fortunately, those days of losing seasons are over.

    Aren't the Braves and the Cubs the only charter members left of the National League? All eight of the original AL teams still exist (no team from 1900 onward has ever disbanded) though of course not necessarily in the original cities.
