Remember on the Presidential Mt. Rushmore it was not necessarily the greatest Presidents but also included one that looked like the sculptor.
1 - Richard Petty
2 - David Pearson
3 - Junior Jonnson
4 - Wendell Scott or G.C. Spencer - These were 2 of my favorite independent drivers. No factory backing and doing the best they could with what they had. Both were capable of winning but couldn't afford to use up their equipment trying to win. At the end of the week they had family to keep up and obligations to pay.
