On Wednesday April 17, 2002, Teletrade Auction # 1563 Lot 1161, a very scarce PCGS MS65 Full Step 1964-D Jefferson Nickel will be auctioned. This would make an exellent addition to any registry sets.

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
Again, this is an issue that I have looked through rolls, and bags, in search of anything decent. A full-stepper in ms65 is a find, to be sure. These coins came real crappy, for lack of a better term. I think a coin that had a hundred runs through a nickel slot machine (popular in the sixties), would go undetectable in a BU roll.
PS. I used to "wait up" for my mom to come home from the casino. I'd get to look through all the coins. She did the penny, nickel, and dime slots, and never replayed anything in the till, as it was "new" to me.
In addition to her stamps, which are a "slam-dunk" set, and easy to update now, she decided back then to collect one, then three rolls of everything I collected. This was when I collected circulated stuff, Wheat Lincs, Jeffs, silver Roosies, silver Wash qtrs., Franklins, and some Kennedys. We completed the '64d nickels right off the bat.
She had to reinforce the floor beneath the bureau containing these rolls...
