Salada Coin Clip Back Question (scan added)

I am putting together the 1962 Salada Baseball Coins and recently won a #220 Carroll Hardy from the Red Sox in PSA 9 grade. Upon receiving the coin, the back is different than any other that I have. It appears to have a "clip" on the back so it could be attached to something. Does anyone know the story behind this variation? Thanks.

Never seen the clip on the back-has to be rare- I am sure you are aware of the 180 and 200 backs?

That is the 1962 Salada Clip Back. A very rare version of the coins. I am sure you stumbled on a GREAT BUY. The value for the Hardy in near mint condition is $450.00.
    Very nice buy!

The premium for a clip back coin is limited because the front and back can be switched out (popped). The clip backs are tough though.

PS I dont collect the coins, its just info Ive heard through the years.
