Recent raw purchases. Mantle, Clemente RC, Schmidt RC, Unitas, Santo, Mays, Yaz added.....

Thought I'd show some of the raw purchases I've made recently. Here's some nice 70's from a card shop.

  • I'm going to guess it is the scanner since it is only on the right side

Do the cards look curved to anyone else?

On the right side it is arced weird, I think it might be from the card actually being curved like a chrome card?

Yup, most likely vending curl or just from being loosely packed for many years. It'll come out when they spend time in a top loader or card saver.

Just out of curiosity, how much did the Clemente rookie set you back and what do you think it would grade at if you sent it in?

BTW, the Clemente came out of a PSA 6 holder. It's more a 7ish card than 6 (though I can see either grade), I thought it was undergraded. Resubmit time at the National.

DID YOU CRACK OUT THAT CLEMENTE?

YOU'RE #$%@! RIGHT I CRACKED OUT THAT CLEMENTE!

Nice Mantle , Good luck on the clemente!

I was going to say '7' if you had me guess at the grade. Everything looked good but the centering - if the centering was better, that could be an '8' or more....

Very nice cards ... good luck with the grading at The National!
