Picked up a neat Notre Dame item tonight, autographed Rudy ticket from his 1975 game

Was browsing around tonight and picked this up. A neat piece of Notre Dame memoribilia. This is an autographed ticket stub from the game that Rudy got in from 1975. I was at Notre Dame when they were filming the movie Rudy in the early 90's, and it caused a lot of inconveniences for us. They would shut down sidewalks during massive snow in order to film scenes, they'd keep me busier than I wanted to be at the bank on Fridays when they'd cash their checks, and Sean Astin was generally a knob. They'd want us to wear stuff with no modern logos on it to the games, as they'd film before the game and during halftime. However, over the years, I've let go of some of my ill willl toward the movie and have come to appreciate the "story" of Rudy. I saw this and decided to pick up to add to my Notre Dame collection.

Here's the back. No intoxicating beverages allowed. I wasn't much of a drinker myself, but I have to say that per capita, there was more alcohol on campus then at a lot of bars, LOL. You just had to carry it in a generic cup and in the dorms, couldn't walk around with a can or bottle exposed, especially outside.

Mike, that's a neat pick up.

That's a same, beacause I've always liked Astin. I heard the real Rudy is a "tool"

    Bobby,

Unfortunately, I can't say that I disagree with your assesment here. I always try to give most people the benefit of the doubt unless they have a repeated history of "toolness', but from everything I've heard about him, you would be correct.

A good friend of mine married the real Rudy's niece and from his standpoint Rudy is a tool but a rich tool who has given him many autographs over the years. He doesnt have many good things to say about the real Rudy but the autographed items do look nice!! LOL
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!
