Bryce Harper

I was curious what the hot RCs had been closing for on Ebay recently so I did a search for 2011 bowman chrome and just followed auction closings for about 20 minutes. Feels in-line with last year, except some of the really rare parallels of lesser known guys weren't getting any action. Saw several blue refractor RCs, which are the #/250 go with no bids.

But then I noticed a Bryce Harper blue refractor close for $173 and I started to wonder...What are some of his super premium cards goign for? Anyone followed any gold refractors of his or any 1/1s? Wondering what prices looked like vs. Strasburg last year. Thx.

    Really, How much can Bryce Harper be worth? Just checking on ebay now, there is 22 pages of Bowman chrome Harper listed.

    I've sold a a few dozen PSA 10's and some 9's of his base card. The 10's are still getting around $50 a pop. Just sold 5 9's for $15 each. Made some good money off Bowman this year!

    I just picked up a blue auto for only $450. Got a steal.

    You got a huge pull and moved it a month or so ago. What is that Harper card doing since you sold it?

    The first copy was the highest by far if I recall.

    Almost all of those are the raw base card. Even if Harper turns out to be Jonny Bench, those will never be worth a lot. I'm more curious about the orange, gold, and blue refractors, which actually would have lots of value down the road. Thx.

    I sold his orange auto for $2,800. Second highest amount. His cards have steadily gone down in value, but the refractors etc are still bringing good money.

    Right now what's hot are the other RC's getting called up or doing great in the minors.

    Paul Goldscmidt anything is on fire right now. His blue auto Tc's have more than doubled since Bowman release. Grain Cecchini Auto's are another. I'm sitting on his orange refractor auto /25 graded PSA 10. I have just about the whole auto set from Bowman. They are all numbered to 500 and mostly PSA 10's. You can buy some of these hot RC's grade them, a 9 will sell more than a raw version, and a 10 will be atleast double. I have spent a small fortune the couple of months. I just picked up 5 Goldscmidt Auto's from 08 Donruss Elite. They will all grade high, hoping for a couple 10's.

    They sell for about $35. A 9 should double the price, and a 10 should fetch a couple hundred. This what I mostly do with buying and selling. Then with profits I buy vintage to build the Legacy.
