TWO 1934 Merc's in MS68FB????

Ok, did anybody see that Blue Moon Coins was running two auctions AT THE SAME TIME on EBay for a 1934 Merc in PCGS MS68FB? I thought this was rather odd?!?!?! He could have had a real mess on his hands if it is the same coin. It is a Pop 13 coin, but could he have two? The first auction ended without the reserve being met, so I guess he is off the hook.

  • appears to be the same coin, at leasst according to the pictures. Both have the same cert #2833372. Could one have had the wrong picture inadvertantly loaded?

This was Brought Up on the US Coin forumn by Yours Truly. These Guys do that with quite regularity. Good advice is to Ignore this eBay Seller. Trust Me on this or Just Check the Threads on these People.

I sent them an email over the weekend and never got a reply. Any thoughts on how high the reserve is? Some of the top sets could be interested. The pop report has 4 of these listed. Of course being flawed by having full bands, I have no interest....LOL

My mistake. The online reports show 13 of these and all the top sets have one. I must have misread my pop book which I do not have with me right now.

    2. About 4 hours left on the 2nd and SAME, and it's $100 over the last time.

It's set up nice for a stay-awake sniper,... if willin' to meet the reserve. image

Why would anyone want to overlap auctions on the same coin?!?image
      Wouldn't fees start addin'-up?!?
What am I missin', here?!? image
