Three times I refreshed the page, looking at the first post, expecting to see pictures load there, and nothing happened. Then I realized the links and pics were at the bottom. I would have been even less likely to notice that if this thread were several pages long.
Just a little strategy suggestion, that's all. For when you're dealing with slow-witted potential customers like myself.
Also, "click the images to enlarge them" doesn't work here. I suspect maybe you copied and pasted that text from a webpage where it would?
Nice lookin' circ Lincolns. Oh, the multi-coin Bust half lot is amazing. It was the Seated half which drew me here- it was better looking than I'd hoped, but not within my pricerange. (I personally don't go in for die varieties and stuff like that- I just like nice type coins.)

the post my items are advertised in is the first post for me as i set my forum settings to most recent post at the top. i got tired of clicking the page numbers to get to the most recent post so now when i click a post the most recent post is at the top. works nicely.
thanks for mentioning the things you did. i needed some updating.
click the images was meant to be removed long ago when i stopped linking to the images on my host. now they are viewable here.
the seated half is en route to ngc as of today so i removed it from everywhere it is advertised.
i would link to the half dollar lot but those images would take too much room here.
for the record i had a very nice LONG response you woulda enjoyed but it didn't post so i'm sorta pissy now.

Interesting. I didn't stop to consider the customization settings others might use.
That sort of makes sense, but I guess "most recent at the bottom" is the default? I've just gotten used to it that way. I'd have to adjust to having most recent on top.
Edit to add: the "meat" of your thread is now showing up sort of midpage for me, right above my first reply. What goes there?
.
idk know about your settings but when i clicked my US BST thread the very first thing i saw was your last post.

that was the first thing i saw. i didn't need to scroll my screen or click any page numbers.
one of the settings i wish this forum had and would actually pay to have implemented is the notification of posts within the threads that i have posted. so if there is an update to a conversation i am active in then i won't have to keep checking back or remember whom posted last, there would simply be the notification in the top right corner under the menu bar where it is usually located.
i am still very VERY VERY thankful this forum exists as even from my short time here have gained and somewhat shared a vast amount of knowledge.

There was something like that, actually. It was called "Subscribe to this thread". It would send email alerts when the thread was responded to.
Funny, I don't see it anywhere, now. I only used it once. If I go to the "today" tab at the top of the page (which is a personal summary page), there is a place for "Subscriptions" at the top left, but I no longer see the one thread I had subscribed to listed there. So maybe the feature has gone defunct now?
I see your stuff at the bottom, again. I suppose that works, but with each subsequent post you might want to say, "scroll to the bottom for coins".
Then again, if everyone's customization settings differ, that might not make any sense. I do think most folks see the forums as I do- with most recent post on the bottom. I think that's the default.
